Helmo

For his collection SS 09, Issey Miyake has organised a color hunting in the amazon forest. The team came back with eight colours (four lights and four darks) which will be used for the new collection.

Helmo have published eight serigraphic posters (the eight colour of the collection) on which shining insects crowd together attracted by light bulbs.

I'm really loving the clothes from Rabbit on the Run. "The motifs are a result of various experiments and research around cutting and folding, which led to unplanned symmetry".

In response to the country's phenomenal natural beauty, Norway has undertaken on a National Tourist Routes project, "designed to touch the hearts and souls of tourists by showcasing magnificent scenery in a harmonious and non-exploitive way." By 2015, eighteen sections of highway, or 1,850 kilometers (1,150 miles), are scheduled to become tourist routes. While these routes reward the journey, they also entice the traveler with destinations and places to just stop, relax, and take in a view.

Pushak Architects has been commissioned for locations along the routes. One of this projects is Reinoksevann roadstop. The site is in a flat landscape with a lot of wind comming from all directions. The roadstop has nieches to sit in in three different directions so that one can choose where to sit according to the wind conditions and the pasing of the sun/midnight sun.

Leah Tinari's paintings are based on personal photos of parties, vacations and nights out and are meant to be tantalizing visual invitations to join in the revelry. Within the compositions, long hair becomes a pattern, the various skin tones make for blocks of colour and the results are part caricature, part social documentary.

Ami Drach & Dov Ganchrow

Ami Drach & Dov Ganchrow have designed the +/- hot plate for the competition "Dining in 2015". The designers combine ceramic and technology together: using the conductive properties of silk-screened gold and amorphic metal films onto ceramic plates. If you connect the to an electric source, the current will run through the pattern on the plate and keep the food warm.
