POLYGON PLAYGROUND
Studio WHITEvoid operates at the interface of art, design and technolgy. WHITEvoid was commissioned by SMUKfest, (one of Denmarks largest music festivals) to create a large scale interactive lounge object.
The POLYGON PLAYGROUND offers room for up to 40 persons at a time to walk, sit and explore its multifaceted surfaces. The installation features a software aided 3D surface projection system to cover the object with a seamless 360 degree projection mapping. An additional sensory system detects peoples positions and proximity.
FLARE
WHITEvoid presents the first prototype of "FLARE - kinetic ambient reflection membrane" . FLARE is a pneumatic building facade system and it consists of a number of tiltable metal flake bodies. By reflecting ambient or direct sunlight the individual flakes of the system act like pixels formed by natural light.
