Mexican Photographer Alejandra Laviada explores both photography and sculpture in her artwork. She works in abandoned sites in the Historic Center of Mexico City, sites that are in the process of being destroyed or redeveloped where she finds banal/common objects to transform these into something else entirely.
"Through these images, I try to bring out the personality and the potential of each of the objects I photograph, constantly arranging and re-arranging them to create temporary sculptures or interventions." by Alejandra Laviada
