Hedi Slimane. Dazed & Confused Jan.09

Hedi Slimane shot a selection of his favourite teenagers (which he cast from the streets of London) for the cover shoot of the January DAZED & CONFUSED issue. The shoot was four days long and they'd go out every night searching for kids to shoot the next day.

"Every model here has their own story. There were kids that we had our eyes on in the earliest stages of research, and there were kids that we approached when they were having a coffee on Brick Lane. We found people at gigs, in clubs, everywhere... For the week of the shoot, we just went anywhere we thought we would find amazing characters, and then shot them the next morning." by Nicola Formichetti

MOS. Floating House

This floating house is located on a tiny island in lake Huron in Ontario, Canada and was designed by MOS. Instead of building it on site, the home was built on shore and towed out to its final spot and anchored in place. The home features a vernacular design that is contemporized with a cedar screen on parts of the façade.
